CHITKARA EDUCATIONAL TRUST
Chitkara Educational Trust based out of Chandigarh, was founded by Dr. Ashok Chitkara and Dr.Madhu Chitkara in the year 1998 and has since then tremendously grown to attain leadership position in North India which speaks volumes about our enduring commitment, outstanding faculty and a rich learning environment.
In a fast globalizing world national borders and regulations no longer act as constraints in one’s quest for quality and world class education. Today, the opportunities in the field of education are manifold and the world is witnessing an upsurge in an increasing tide of young people crossing borders in search of better prospects in diverse fields.
Dr. Ashok Chitkara started his career, spanning 31 year in teaching started in 1976 as PGT (Mathematics) at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Chandigarh, and then after completing his Ph.D in Mathematics from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak in 1985, he became a Reader in Department of Mathematics in Panjab University, Chandigarh. He is now a life member of:-
- Indian Mathematical Society
- Indian Science Congress Association
- Indian Society for Technical Education
A researcher in Mathematics and logic over his career, Dr. Ashok Chitkara has authored, co-authored, and edited a number of books, papers, and reports; and delivered and invited papers and keynotes at Seminars, Symposiums, National Conferences, Universities, and Research Institutions.
